What a total nutcase. Apparently she is the 2nd person in the
past few months to jump in beside them.
Is the Polar Bear the most dangerous animal in the world?
I've heard zoo keepers say that the Panda is not to be trusted
and is the nastiest in captivity.
PS (it's not a herd of bears, the collective term is a 'sleuth' of bears -
I only know that 'cos I got that wrong in a pub quiz.) π

Originally posted by leestaticI can understand the idea of "celebration" because the polar bear is normally a solitary animal and would voluntarily gather in any number only to take part in devouring the body of a dead whale, which indeed would be a celebration. If not the most dangerous animal in the world, it would be high on the list, being one of relatively few that see man as natural prey. In my younger days I was a zoo keeper for ten years and the only animal I still have nightmares about is the polar bear. They can move like lightning, and the only sound you will hear is your death rattle, or in my case it would be Saint Peter saying "what the hell are YOU doing here"!
Apparently a Celebration.
