This roly-poly jumps in and swims towards a herd of the most dangerous animals in the world, then expects to be rescued.

What a total nutcase. Apparently she is the 2nd person in the
past few months to jump in beside them.

Is the Polar Bear the most dangerous animal in the world?

I've heard zoo keepers say that the Panda is not to be trusted
and is the nastiest in captivity.

PS (it's not a herd of bears, the collective term is a 'sleuth' of bears -
I only know that 'cos I got that wrong in a pub quiz.) πŸ˜‰

A Celebration of Polar Bears.

A slueth of Bears must refer to non-Polar Bears.

(Who thought these collective terms up)

I wonder what you would call a crowd of chess players.....?

A set of chess players?

I always liked that a group of owls is a "Parliament", quite fitting. πŸ™‚

I can understand the idea of "celebration" because the polar bear is normally a solitary animal and would voluntarily gather in any number only to take part in devouring the body of a dead whale, which indeed would be a celebration. If not the most dangerous animal in the world, it would be high on the list, being one of relatively few that see man as natural prey. In my younger days I was a zoo keeper for ten years and the only animal I still have nightmares about is the polar bear. They can move like lightning, and the only sound you will hear is your death rattle, or in my case it would be Saint Peter saying "what the hell are YOU doing here"!

I actually remember someone using the phrase "a condescension of grandmasters" in an article when discussing a group of GM's attending the Fischer - Spassky match. Probably not official, but it has a certain ring to it.
