My wife has decided to book us a Winter holiday! Not only that but she
is using the PC to browse through site after site... Rhymester's chess
is being seriously curtailed!

Ask her to book it for at least 22 days without access to a
computer...LOL

PS: John might like that!!! 🙂

Thank you all for your 'useful' suggestions and words of sympathy...
the frustrating thing is that we have three telephone lines and I have
a state of the art computer with 22" plasma display flatscreen... but
it's a Mac and RHP isn't Mac friendly. I'll just have to try harder with
my time management.... 109 games waiting - must dash!

Curious what browser you are using.
At work, I use Macs and RHP ain't so hot on Netscape 4.7. But RHP
looks fine on Intenet Explore 5 (5point something or other) on the
Mac. Also I think some of the problems got cured recently for the
latest and greatest Netscape version - at least on the PC.
But before you go upgrading your browser, maybe you can check it out
on somebody else's computer.

Maggoteer - RHP 'looks' fine but I and others can't move the pieces...
Russ has said in the past that they haven't had the time to make RHP
Mac friendly. Things may have changed of course. I tend to do all my
internet stuff on PC but to answer your question about browsers... it's
whatever the default one is when using AOL 4.00 for Mac... when I'm
next logged on from my G4 I'll do some tests.

I play all my games on a Mac (both at home and at work). I've used both Netscape and Explorer
and have never had a problem playing my games. While it's true RHP is not Mac friendly in a few
minor areas, there is no reason you shouldn't be able to play your games on your Mac. I think the
problem must be your abysmal internet connection. AOL, hah! A chain is only as strong as its
weakest link, and AOL *IS* the weakest link.

I had the same problem initially on my mac at home. I'm not very
computer literate, so it took me a while to figure it out, but I just
switched to netscape and I was able to move the pieces. You can just
switch back and forth between browsers like that.
good luck

I'll give it a go .... but what will happen if I mange to use RHP on
my 'work' mac.... no - I'm stronger than that (I think).... ;-)

Have you considered the possibility that she is pulling a "Sir Lancelot"
with Vaknso? Kirk

Ms Rhymester,
Especially use the computer for looooong chats with your friends. You
may take a break for a nap if needed, but take the mouse with you to
the bathroom when needed>>> KEEP UP WITH THE GOOD PLANS!!!

Novaboy,
Want to be a MAP Knight? Just add "Map Knight" to your profile.
Play me a game and you can challenge Rhymester to a game with 14
day-timeout. Only make moves there every 14 days. LOL
