Did we watch the same game? Defence was weak!? Italy new they couldn't out pace the Ghana players, they played smart and made Ghana come to them in both defence and midfield. The defence was pretty solid in my eyes. And the final result shows it even though our stirkers should of scored at least 2 more sitters.

I'm not a dolphin-worshipper; I'm the leader of the INVADING DOLPHIN HORDES. When a forum is dedicated to OPERATION WORLD CUP THREAD FREEDOM, I'll send my hordes there. For now, they're going to hang around and commit atrocities. I do admit that discussion of Faith Whalism belongs in Spirituality, but I think I've done a good job of keeping it out of this thread.

Apparently not. Ghana attacked well and Italy found it difficult to cope during most of the first half. Cannavaro didn't appear to be at his best, the midfield was constricted which was holding up play. They were certainly the better team overall, but the first half showed their weaknesses. They have a great player in Toni, I can see him doing well in the tournament.

Yeah i was worried about Italy's midfield and their lack of speed, Ghana are quick. Very quick. But i agree, the mid is Italy's weakness.

Toni is good, i was hoping De Rossi would do better.

Brazil 3 - Croatia 0 [EDIT] Could be 4, with Adriano on a hat trick for a lot of the game.
South Korea 3 - Togo 1
France 1 - Switzerland 0
