I found most anatomy/physiology textbooks disgusting, especially the ones illustrated extensively with vivid photographs. Imagine all those tissues, blood and bodily fluid inside us moving constantly...Oh my head hurts with nausia.
I can enjoy reading ones with clear schematic illustrations though, preferbly colour coordinated in unrealistic manner..

I think dictionaries are pretty disgusting. They are full of rude words and they even tell you what they mean.
