Nope!

Though my BMI is 28.1, I used to do weight training so have residual muscle - happy with my height/weight ratio.

Thanks tho.

I use my rolls as extra pockets.. for change and stuff.. once I lost a beef and bean burrito in there for a couple of weeks. If fat is functional, is it really BAD Fat?

Europeans are worse, shouldn't throw the f-word around:

Europeans More Obese Than Americans
Does the USA have the fattest men? If you believed popular media you would think this was true. You'd be wrong:

In Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Greece, Malta and Slovakia, a higher percentage of men are obese or overweight than the estimated 67 percent of men in the United States, according to a report from the International Obesity Task Force, a coalition of researchers and institutions

According to the AP article, obesity is especially acute in Mediterranean countries. And so much for French Women Not Getting Fat:

In France, obesity in women rose from 8 percent in 1997 to 11.3 percent in 2003, and from 8.4 percent to 11.4 percent in men.

These are incredible statistics. It's easy to believe that the US, giving the impression of being the consumer capital of the world, and saturated with fast food outlets would be the fattest. Czech Republic?

Oh well, who cares? It's more fun to accentuate the stereotype of the "fat american ass".

Surely if 2/3rd are classified as obese then that, being a majority, must tend towards being reclassified as normal?
