Usually when I play I always want to win.
But sometimes I feel sorry for my losing opponent and I even have thoughts of hanging a piece to make it a draw or even worse just blundering the win away.
With online chess it only happens once in awhile but in real tournaments it happens a lot.
Anybody else think like this sometimes?
I play to win, and I have never let up on an opponent on purpose.
One time I was playing a good friend's son. I was mauling him, my buddy said, "I thought you'd let up a little bit." I said, "You want him to learn don't you?" He smiled and said, "He'll learn not to play you."
