The source of the comment is obvious, shav is doing teh suuuuuuuuck work. I've seen it all over, the people doing really crappy on the job are the most suprised when it's finally brought to their attention.

Well, I don't know the actual facts, but I agree the implication is that he is. For example things like:

* being late for work
* missing time
* taking too many breaks
* taking too long on assignments
* and even showing up looking like you party'd like hell the night before can put you on the crap list.

She's good at my job. She's obviously never been trained in Human resource management though...
Exactly what is your job?

oh, doo00OOOD.....you're closer to the truth than you know. I think shav mentioned some time ago that he applied at a Subway sandwhich shop. Too bad it's not working out for him.

Poor shav....this thread just isn't going his way at all. He came on looking for sympathy and ended up getting *pwned*. He prolly does the same thing at work, complaining about things and expecting people to agree with him, never realizing that they think he's a contrary, argumentative whiner. Just like he does on the forums here.

...spending too much time pissing around on the internet posting in forums... 😉

How's that for motivation?

I was so stunned I just nodded. Now I'm thinking...maybe I should rip her head off and piss down her neck.
What do y's all think?
No big deal really. The last owner I worked for told me for 2.5 years that as soon as he found some one to do my job for 1/2 my wage I was gone. And I would tell him that I would get rid of me too. He would actually interview people on a regular basis, actually walking them down the hall and I would meet them. I guess it did not help him like me much when I gunned him down with the double bird drawn up from the holsters in front of the whole office, but I kept working there for over 6 months after that.

Long story short, I knocked down 3 million worth of work one week and he let me go. He figured that would give him enough time to find some one with my qualifications and skill to work for 1/2 my price and more hours. Well he found some one for 1/2 my price anyway and has been hemorrhaging money ever since and is on the dead pool list now.

It never really bothered me knowing that this clown hated me and considered me a necessary evil that he had to pay. He was a small fish in a big pond, and every one knows that you have to pay the anti to play with the big boys.

I think she'd be grateful, because that would keep you from spitting in the customer's sandwiches you're supposed to be making. Mayonnaise isn't supposed to smell like Comet, either.

I'm guessing that if you were doing a decent job she wouldn't have said that to you. Time to move on and find something you're good at. Perhaps the fast food game just isn't right for you. Have you thought of something less challenging, like being a parking lot attendant?

I used to work, until I got a job. Now I wish I had a career.

Only problem is, if I had a career... I'd want to step up to a profession.
