When I cut and paste certain things it is because it is complementary to other things we are discussing. If you want to understand what I'm trying to say, you'd better read it ....... 😉

I've read a lot of stuff. What surprised me most in my quest was the stances the Roman Catholic Church REALLY takes and what the liberal or progressive anti-Church press makes of it. The latest example is the "LETTER TO THE BISHOPS OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH ON THE COLLABORATION OF MEN AND WOMEN IN THE CHURCH AND IN THE WORLD" May 31, 2004,
http://www.vatican.va/roman_curia/congregations/cfaith/documents/rc_con_cfaith_doc_20040731_collaboration_en.html
If you study what is written in this letter and you compare this with what is written in the press/media about the content, you would have a nice insight on how the press/media deals with the truth and how she gets facts and opinions mixed up in order to fight the Church in every way possible.
If you want to know what the Roman Catholic Church is saying people should read the Church's documents themselves instead of reading the interpretations given by biased newspapers, television stations and other media.
I wonder how many anti-Church freethinkers actually do read the Church's documents. They usually parrot what the media have been saying about it.
