I have three, a blue heeler what has to drag me out of swimming, a border collie too smart for his own good, and a chocolate lab with a boxer mom and it shows in her behavior - she is paws-on. I've given them lots of toys, and one toy still survives - a red rubber ball.
Sometimes that ball sits there, unloved. I play that tune, though, and they suddenly friend-fight over it. Boo always wins: when the others get there first they back off. I rescued Boo from abusers, and can't swat a fly without him running away.
Is Boo the lab, the heeler, or the collie?
