I've seen a user with that nic and saw the DVD on sale. It looks like a very, very old and boring movie.

It's a good movie, but clearly overrated. Kubrick's standard is better than that.

It's one of the funniest films ever made.

They even named a psychological disorder after it!

^ LOL!

Side Note: I agree with Palynka. Strangelove wasn't Kubrick's best, but still a good move.

Well... for argument's sake... Besides "Full metal jacket", which other Kubrick film comes even close to Dr. Strangelove?

Personally, I thought 2001, The Shining and Clockwork Orange were all better. Like I said, I enjoyed the movie. It just wasn't my favorite.

If I had to choose between those three films, it would have to be The Shining.

Thanks for the tip.

I'll make a point of not watching it - maybe I'll go to IMDB and vote for it to be taken out of the top 50 movies of all time.

Number 23 - http://www.imdb.com/chart/top

I'm sure you also believe the DVD didn't do so well when it first came out back in the mid 60's.
