The update keeps saying error when I hit scan for updates?

My monitor also keeps flickering when things load, such as rhp ads etc...How do I fix this?

Movies are fine. It's just adds when i'm loading and rhp avatars which are animation etc...which keep flickering. What to do about this?

Animations I guess you can call them.
