Gooster, what you are unaware of is we know each other and have chatted on the phone for hours, something you and I have never done.
His chess rating is more than slightly higher than mine, which wouldn't stop me from chatting with him in a P.M., if I thought he had an issue with drinking.
He is trying to lighten things up, and you took him seriously!

I must point out, this was when I was at my best. My rating here was 1800-2000, my all time peak was 2020. At this time I was also 2x city champ. I held it twice. The first time I defeated our city's youngest ever champ, in the shortest championship game in city history. The second time I beat our local Dragon scholar (1800 USCF) with the black side of the Dragon.
My one game edge on Trev was a TO win too.

A decade makes a big difference as we get older. Chess is a funny game, one bad move and it can be all over as we all know.
