I scraped a CC in double award science in GCSEs. Not the sharpest tool in the box.
It was raining very hard for a minimum of half an hour (probably a lot longer). Is it feesable that that much rain could evaporate in less than four hours?

Since it's the same qualification, you can't give all the 'tards in the lower tier B's and A's when their exams/courses were not the set at same level of difficulty as the higher one.

Higher: each science (Physics, Biology, Chemistry) gets an individual grade (A through U)
Intermediate: each science gets graded and then compressed into one score which is then doubled (so if you get a C in all the papers added up you get 2 Cs). You only get 2 grades because the papers are easier.
Foundation: each science is graded and compressed into one score which you keep.

Originally posted by Freddie2006My office mate gets up before 7 each day, and yes, apparently it was raining "quite a lot" this morning. Me, I had no idea... and as the sky greys am starting to wish I'd brought an umbrella with me.
I (accidently) woke up at 7am this morning and saw that it was raining, really, really heavily, and it was still like that half an hour later. So I went back to sleep and when I woke up again at 11:30 there wasn't any indication of rain; the streets are dry, the soil outside is dry, the sun is shining and the sky is blue, but I could have sworn it was raining. Am I imagining things?

And I also fail to see how you can base the entire planet on just a single fossil found who knows where. What other conditions could have caused it? Could it have been underground Volcanoes warming the water? Could the fossils been moved and planted there? Not enough evidence. I am still not convinced about prehistoric man and the ape theory yet. I think those stupid skulls were nothing more than birth defects.
