I had a reoccuring dream last night about vaguely familiar homeless people in a park. The stench was intolerable. I have this dream almost evrery time I have plans to go downtown.

What does this mean?

one possibility, of many...

at one time, previous life, you, yourself, were homeless...
this is YOUR life you dream of...
you were obese, gluttonous, morbid...

it sickens you because it IZ you...

get thee to yer local tarot reader...

Level of respect just went down several points.

I am a member of the morbidly obese, and while I do eat, frankly in very public restaurants, I use manners and I don't go feeding in a trough.

My desire to continue on requires I use language unfit for any ear. I hope you never have to find out what it is like to be obese/handicapped.

You're not dreaming, you're sleep walking.

Hear, hear. It will be a long time before general knowledge catches up to the science. The facts remain however, that public policy, food and nutritional 'science' and industry pressure have created conditions that make it very difficult to avoid obesity, especially in countries like the US, where farm subsidies of corn and soy have essentially destroyed food diversity.

Once people understand that the conditions responsible for the development of obesity do not lie entirely with the individual, we might start to see a) a bit more tolerance, and b) something done at the industry level to repair things.

eating one meal a day would probably help.

after a while your stomach doesn't feel hungry. at least it was so with me. or if i did feel hungry, i'd recognize it but not react. i wouldn't automatically go to the kitchen to get something.

i heard the other day that people in food service are 40% more obese than the rest of the population. one factor being free or reduced-rate food, and another being the constant exposure to the smell of food.

Eat less, Exercise more.

I see no part of the above for which you are not in complete control.

Take responsibility for your own actions.

Really? Are we really going to blame our own shortcomings upon others now? We all have weaknesses and vulnerabilities, but, it is unacceptable to blame them on others. It is up to the individual to live their own life.

If you're fat and fine with it then live your life. If you're not happy do something about it. Life's far to short to squander it on being miserable.

Feel free to PM me with any thoughts you might have.

I'm thinking about designing a food snorkel that will allow tubbos to eat and breath at the same time. I see this saving considerable time. Would you be interested in such a device. $24.95 if you sign up now. I'll even throw in my patented food funnel that will allow you to bypass the whole chewing process.

At this point you aren't worth any more of my time. Your "perfect" body crap is just that.

You wouldn't know a medical condition if it bit you in the face.

Again I had respect for you and your rhetoric nonsense, now I just don't want to read or hear another thing you have to say.
