I know that, but I don't really want to go to Federal Pound-Me-In-the-Ass prison over some stupid songs.

As I've revealed before, I used to be a counsellor.

I had to write the word many times.

Ok then. Anybody know how to take music off of an iPod?

I would just sell it, you're not gonna get arrested for it if it's just your personal ipod. If you were selling ten then maybe it would be dodgy but for one, no way.

Ring up your loal cop-shop and ask them, they'll tell you at the worst it "could" be a civil case.

If you really want to you can restore to factory settings here;

I once saw on ebay a guy selling an entire hard drive full of music. Sure, the music industry is against it, but you could easily get away with it.

Edit: Although looking at the actual law, it does say "MP3 player or IPod." It does not say hard drive. I guess it could be done legally then 🙂

Your sale must be worded correctly

“Item for sale ipod comes with free songs”

It’s just like selling tickets to an event. You are buying a package and getting 2 free tickets

Unless ebay states in its terms somewhere an ipod may not be sold you can't but getting around the songs on it issues is what I was answering to
