I ordered 3 books from Amazon maybe 3 years ago now, a couple of weeks later and the books hadn't arrived yet so i sent an email to ask wtf. They sent out a new package within a couple of days and it wasn't long before they arrived. I can't remember exactly how long but maybe 2 weeks after that the original package turns up. No idea what happened to it but now i had 6 books for the price of three, put the 3 spare books on ebay and got back about 70% of the price of the books. Not a bad thing to say about Amazon or ebay.

I calls it entrepaneurshi*. Trev, I think you have a possible internship within the American Banking System or at least a position in the Financial Accounting Department.

I vote Amazon as well.

With EBay it's definitely let the buyer beware.

Amazon are patent frauds whose shenanigans in the One-Click affair have done great damage to the original spirit of the internet. They are by a country mile the greatest culprits in turning it into the festering commercial cess-pit it is now, when it should have been a haven for intellectual freedom.
Ebay may be bad, but I will forever curse Amazon and all its directors for destroying what was once a beautiful thing.

You do know that it was the company Amazon i bought the books off, not someone selling them second hand? They were 3 new books sent by a cooperation who ended up giving me 6 books because their first package took a month or two to arrive.

Tell me now "the shoe could be on the other foot" unless i owned a multi million dollar cooperation? But if that was the case, i really wouldn't be worrying about a few extra books sent out totaling about £50. Would I?

It is now. It used not to be.
