Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, Fall Out Boy, The Used, Panic! At the Disco, Dashboard Confessional, and Straylight Run.

I'm checking out some on your list, and they sound pretty good.

Have you ever heard of Bloc Party? They're not really emo, but it's a really interesting sound that I just discovered. I like "Two More Years" of theirs the best.
Oh god, Fall out Boy? A gay emo...first I've seen yet.

If you like Panic! At the Disco so much then what didn't you answer my question in the "What's the deal..." thread?

Bloc Party has nothing AT ALL to do with emo. It really just goes to show how much you know:

Absolutely nothing.

Go wallow in your non-existing pain. Wallowrus.
Well, if you look at the lyrics, and the appearance of some of the members, one would speculate that they're emo. However, I came to the conclusion that they're not, and so I said that.

And are you all so clueless to not realize I was just pretending to be emo?

You're entitled to your music preferences. I'm not homosexual or emo. I like emo music and Fall Out Boy.

Link? I didn't see it. I don't like Panic! At the Disco "so much." They're just one of the emo bands I listen to.

My top ten or so are: Silverstein, Senses Fail, Underoath, Emanuel, A Change Of Pace, On The Last Day, Letter Kills, Atreyu, Boys Night Out, Funeral For A Friend, Brand New, As I Lay Dying, Hawthorne Heights.....okay thats a few more than ten, but what are yours??
i saw funeral for a friend supporting maiden a couple of years ago. hilarious!

they-erm-weren't recieved very well.

i decided to give my MCR album another try. it had better be good. i took use your illusions II off for it. which is an excellent album.

EDIT: hey, if we're talking "post hardcore", i have a little soft spot for "thrice", who i believe are classed as post hardcore.

EDIT2: turned off MCR and stuck thrice on. and the world* returns to the way it should be. ๐Ÿ™‚

*okay-so just my room, not the whole world. do you have a problem with the use of millions of hyperboles in my posts? if you do, just tell me and i'll stop.

thats cool but ffaf are quite a bit different than maiden, cuz ffaf is emo/screamo and maiden is like some sort of metal, so i dont expect theyd be received in the same mannor....

edit: o ya, i have two of thrice's albums, i really like them, theyre sweet!!!
