This is a good match for Theo Walcott to come on at some time. I bet he will torment their defense and show that he is the new Pele.
The new Pele....

Gotta love English supporters.

Is this the new Pele that didn't even make the bench for Arsenal's first team? He may have talent , but has absolutely no experience.

Plus, what about Aaron Lennon?!

Walcott ain't the only bin-lid in the England squad and it's a shame that the media seem to have cut him out comlpetely in favout of Walcott.

I've hardly seen Lennon play. I've heard great things about him though. I only saw him make one darting run last Saturday. He didn't come on until near the end. Maybe he is England's answer to Ryan Giggs at last?
ONly problem now is, who's gonna replace Beckham when he retires (not too far away)

Hopefully, we could do with a bit more flair and speed on the wings.

As far as ol' Becks, it seems that Wright-Phillips and Defoe are considered to be the two top runners to replace him.

EDIT: Oh, and Terry seems to be everyone's favourite pick for the new Cap'n.

I think the weather will beat England.

Either that or they were playing with the wrong kind of ball.

Their opponents played too well.

Someone added warm water to their bottles.

Their shoe laces were tied too tight.

Their shorts were too long

They used the wrong type of conditioner in their washing

It wasn't 1966

etc etc etc

May as well give them as much reasons as possible

😛

Yes but Sweden didn't have Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Michael Owen, John Terry, Joe Cole or David Beckham 😀
Or Peter "the robot" Crouch! 🙂

We'll even let you borrow a couple, that way you can have a decent excuse for not even qualifying and having to hijack another nation to give yourselves the slighest glimmer of hope of sporting achivements. 😛

Why are you talking about England's chances of World Cup victory? Support your own team.

Edit: My bad, Scotland didn't make it...there's a surprise.
