are you sure he's the last? Very Crusty has been orbiting the moon for a number of years now, in his own home built space station, you can see him spangling on a clear night.

Eugene was ON the moon, Crusty is just flying overhead.
Thank you, @sonhouse. I do not have to read the news anymore and it is
thanks to you and all the people copy pasting links informing me about
dead people and the like --without adding a single point of view.
Goodbye CNN, BBC, and Reuters! I am free! Finally!

I was waiting till the troll section called in, I knew it would and you and HOH didn't disappoint. Since I was involved with Apollo, tracking and timing, I have a special connection that you nor anyone else here has so it was for me mainly that I posted this.

Schmucks couldn't even fit the right O rings.
It took Feynman to point that out in that famous demo, NASA was, lets say, annoyedπ But he was 100% right. NASA just didn't want its dirtly laundry aired on national TV. After that they killed the Oring deal and made the boosters in one piece. They only made it segmented in the first place so they could transport it by that big guppy jet, the whole thing as a unit now had to go by rail and truck, at 5 MPH in some places.

Yeah, you were there, Pops. π
I'm 40 this year, and it wasn't until a few years after the last shot that I was born.
Now I realize the news said he was the last man to walk on the moon, but that's because he was on the last Apollo mission. He was literally the last one to leave footprints there. Aren't there any of the other 11 still alive?

So, tell us more. What did Jimi say when he stole Foxy Lady from you?
Was Nixon happy when you told him to bomb Cambodia? Picture us all
sitting around you, eager to listen to your memories.
