Well done England!!!
A tense game which I enjoyed watching with a Welsh colleague; a part of me wanted Wales to win. In the evening here in Hamburg I watched the Germany v Poland game with some German colleagues. Apparently I am an honorary German. Sport can be wonderfully connecting.

Only a quarter of me wanted Wales to win. (My granddad was Welsh).

The man was a genius though, we gotta respect his opinion. Perhaps his criticism has some merit, Schweinsteiger is getting on and is not the player he once was and I suspect that Germany are really missing the likes of Philip Lahm.

Of course Ballack is an expert. You know how they say in Germany?
The worst Job to have is Bundestrainer there are about 60 Million People who feel to have more Expertise...

yes of course but he really was possibly one of the greatest midfielders of his generation and who is there to replace him? Schweinsteiger or Khedira? they are different types of players. Perhaps football has changed since then and players like Michael Ballack are very few in a generation, we should indulge him some out of respect for a great player.
