@very-rusty saidGo Habs Go.👍 I thought I heard that they will be starting the games in Vegas an hour earlier.
I am looking forward to the Hockey game tonight.
Montreal leading series versus Vegas 2-1.
At least we get it an hour earlier when they play here in Canada.

@great-big-stees saidI believe the game is in Montreal tonight. I am just hoping the officiating is better. Did you see the high stick that cut a Montreal Player and no call plus there were other ones which went uncalled.
Go Habs Go.👍 I thought I heard that they will be starting the games in Vegas an hour earlier.
The officiating somehow got worse for the Canadiens in Game 3
Perhaps some of the worst officiating ever seen, and this time without even the poor excuse of game management.

Well last nights game between Montreal vs. Vegas looked like a reverse of Friday night game.
Montreal was in control for first 2 periods. Vegas starting coming on in the 3rd and scored in the overtime as Montreal did on Friday. Only difference was Vegas didn't get as many shots on goal as they did Friday night.
Now the series goes back to Vegas all tied at 2 games with their 2-1 overtime win in the first over time period. Some questionable non calls but not as many as on Friday night.
With roughly 18,000 Vegas Golden Knight fans in the stands on home ice looks like the momentum is back in Vegas favor.

@very-rusty saidPrice will prevail.👍

@great-big-stees saidDid you watch the whole game Stees?
Price will prevail.👍
What do you think of the one that got between his glove and body? When you're a goal tender that is the worst goal as it went through you so to speak. You have to have played the position to know what I mean. I understand if not for "Price" they wouldn't have gotten this far. the games will go 6 for sure, I hope it isn't 7 as I had predicted because that would mean last game in Vegas~!
I am sure there is lots about golf you could explain to me. All I know is Fore and that to let people know to get the hell out of the way you didn't hit the golf ball where you wanted it to go. 😉

@very-rusty saidI had to stop watching when the Habs were up 1-0 and didn’t hear the final score till this morning.

@great-big-stees saidOk, yea the one that they did get is one that as a rule doesn't get through Price.
I had to stop watching when the Habs were up 1-0 and didn’t hear the final score till this morning.
Let's hope the pressure is more on the Vegas Golden Knight next game playing at home in front of their own crowd. Sometimes it is best to have that 5th game which could be the one that decides this series on the road.

-Removed-The thing that's frustrating the most about England is that they actually have the players to play entertaining attacking football and win while doing it but for some reason set up just not to concede. The match against Croatia was one of if not the most boring I've seen of the championship so far, and i sat through Finland against Russia.
I like England, and in general the English people are fine but hearing the pundits bum on about them like they're perfect after a very average 1-0 win against a team that's aged terribly makes you want them to get hammered 5-0 by Iceland.
Wales were quite good against Italy, they did what they needed to do which was not lose by a ton of goals to get second in the group, Bale misssed a great chance to make it 1-1 late on but it probably wouldn't have mattered, Italy rested a bunch of players as well, not a huge difference between winning that group or coming second.
@Trev33
Historically Italy have been one of the most successful European nations in international football by playing very defensive football in the group stages. Germany's tournament successes are also attributed to well organised sides that start slow and only get more adventurous as the tournament progresses. England's opening game was dull by design with our least offensive full backs and effectively two holding midfield players until Philips was more box to box in the second half. Sensible tournament football that Southgate was rightly praised for. What is typically English is that that gets completely forgotten because he got it all wrong against Scotland. You're only as good as your last match. 😁
@relentless-red saidYou see you're looking at it all through the glasses of hope, the rest of us non English types have the glasses of reality. The German and Italian sides were organised and had a good defense sure but they weren't boring and always had an attacking threat, you can't compare it to England. Lets not forget a group stage exit in the 2014 World Cup, Iceland knocking them out of euro 2016, sure a semi final at the 2018 World Cup but a penalty shootout win in the last 16 against Colombia? Sweden a dream quarter finalist and getting beat by Croatia after leading in the semis? Hardly top class teams you're playing against there.

England play with fear in tournaments, always have done, only that 4-1 against the Dutch in 96 did they look like they were enjoying it and what was in followed up by? A 0-0 against a poor Spain side.
Sorry but playing Phillips and rice when you have sancho on the bench is laughable at best. You're right about one thing though, group stage is all about getting out of it, Portugal proved that, so lets see what they do in the last 16. Wont say anything else until then 😉
@trev33 saidIn fact so laughable that it got us a much sought after opening win in a tournament, so now we don't have to worry about the tired performance against Scotland, compared to the usual third group match nerves at this stage.

You are wrong to say that getting out of the groups is everything, you do also have to qualify for the tournament. 😉
Only reasonable criticism imo is that we should have rotated against Scotland. Rested players and taken a look at Ward-Prowse, Grealish, Sancho and Calvert-Lewin.
@relentless-red saidThe only difference between the Croatia and Scotland game is that Scotland played with a bit of pace and went for it, Croatia looked happy with a 0-0 and even when they went a goal down never looked a threat. England were pretty much the same, sideways passes, scared to try for a goal and possibly loss the ball. Maybe they really are playing for second, win the group and they’re out 😉

UEFA prefer North Macedonia than Ireland to qualify that’s it 😂 we’ll never be considered contenders though, just getting to the dance is all Ireland can ever hope for, maybe the odd snog like in 2002 😁
