Hi Doc,
I was wondering if you or for that matter anyone else could recommend some freeware/shareware for burning AVI and MPG files to DVD/VCD. Until recently I have been using Nero but I dont want to pay for it again if there are viable alternatives for free. My experiences with hacked or cracked software mean that I would rather poke out my own eyes with dirty sticks.
Any ideas?

DVDFlick - from http://www.dvdflick.net/
I am currently creating the first dvd with this software and I am impressed with how easy it all is. An excellent peice of freeware, open source too for all you inquisitive geeks.

See, this was a nicely laid out post that was concise and to the point.

Please accept my humblest apologies. I can only offer excuses including homelessness, joblessness and that the train is fast approaching skintsville. However these minor life challenges seem insignificant compared to your lack of pre-vetted infuriating/interesting/cool games. I will get right on it Sir and no mistake.

I too have enjoyed all of those things, and it is only when you have nothing left that you really get to enjoy misery.
It does get better though.
If you get really desperate let me know and I will come over and buy you a pint.
