Oops, I first read this as "Easterfox". But we'll have Christmasfox first.

I haven't noticed.

It doesn't make any difference on RHP. It only prefetches static pages.

The RHP servers have been acting up today.

Most RHP pages are dynamic. Fasterfox only prefetches static pages.

If you have a lot of tabs open, with prefetching enabled, it might affect your performance, as fasterfox if prefetching all the links on the other tabs.

I dunno. I just enabled prefetching there for a bit with 15 tabs open, and Firefox really slowed down, so I disabled it again.

Technically, I couldn't really answer you, but in lay man's terms, a static page is one which always has the same information, unless a website developer actually alters it. A dynamic page is one that changes, either through user interaction (like the forums and games pages), or through automated script update (like a weather page which automagically updates the current weather for you).

May not be 100% accurate, but you should be able to get an idea from that.

Use of these by non-subs at RHP would be fraud.

Apparently. 😞

No it wouldn't. The site doesn't work unless you allow scripts. There is no Flash on the site. And having adblock installed doesn't affect the site, until you right click on the ads, and chose to adblock them.

If you want to continue blocking ads on here, make sure you don't complain when Russ implements measures to either A)not allow you onto the site while blocking the ads, or B)forces non-subs to subscribe after a limited trial period.
