do u get a council housing for being a father? Thought such stuff is for single mothers?

Being a father is great but you have a lot of trials and tribulations to come.

With a bit of luck however, you may one day become a grandad and that is simply sublime.

A lot of councils don't have housing any more, they sold out to housing associations. They don't hand out houses so readily now, they tend to put young single parents in bed & breakfast hostels which are a nightmare for anybody with a baby or young child. I've worked with pregnant teenagers and I know getting housing is not as easy as people think.

Good luck! I live in Yorkshire and it hasn't been that easy to get a council house for at least 20 years.
