Forbidden Planet - got the Louis and Bebe Barron soundtrack too - highly recommended.
There's a movie I'd like to see again. I saw it when I was a kid and really liked it, but I suspect it might not seem as good now. I can't find it anywhere - I think it was called "Invasion of the Mysterians".
Had some good flying saucers in it for the time.

For it's time, The Forbidden Planet was very good. Also, I liked the first War of the Worlds. The was this film about spaceships carrying some of the remaining plant and tree life from Planet Earth. The was a guy on one ship who felt the the plant and tree life needed to be preserved no matter what the cost. However, I cannot remember the name of it.
