I love It's a Wonderful Life (1946). I make a point of watching this every year, usually on Christmas eve.

That being said, "You'll shoot your eye out" refers to A Christmas Story from 1983 and this is not one to be missed either. These are my top two, varying in order depending on my mood that year.
