White bread buttered on the outside. Fill with tuna (prferably in olive oil), seasoned with salt, pepper and paprika. Layer cheddar cheese over top. Toast to golden and crispy.

More ideas, please.

fry one slice of cooked ham, turn over slice. Place cheese on top of fried side. When cheese melts, take out of fry pan and place in between two slices of buttered toast.

Here's a recipe for a great start to any sandwich, a nice loaf of homemade Parisian-style crusty bread that requires no kneading!

Combine and whisk together the following dry ingredients in a large bowl:

3 cups all-purpose or bread flour
1/4 tsp of dry yeast
1 1/4 tsp salt

Once evenly combined, add in 1 5/8 cups of warm water (the water should be the right temperature for the yeast you're using, which is usually lukewarm or room temperature), and stir until a wet dough is formed. Cover with a towel and leave in a warm place for 12 to 18 hours to rise.

After 12 to 18 hours, lightly flour your hands and take the dough out of the bowl. Place it on a floured non-stick surface (like a Silpat), and form into a ball. Flour a cotton towel and place it over the dough. Leave it to rise a second time for 2 to 3 hours.

Preheat a large pot in an oven set to 450 F (leave the pot in there it for about 20 to 30 minutes to make sure it's nice and hot). Once the pot is hot, gently slide the bread off the non-stick surface and into the pot. Bake the bread in the pot in the oven with the lid on for 30 minutes, then remove the lid and continue to bake for 15 minutes more.

Done! Lovely hot, crusty Parisian style bread, perfect for any sandwich.

Fresh bread is the best. We've been using Chronic Leaky's recipe now for a few weeks. Fantastic.

Make a simple dip of some sweet chilli sauce and a fruit chutney.

Mix one part of a strong cheese of your choice with grated emmenthal and put on slices of ciabatta.
Grind pepper to tatse.
Put under grill until cheese bubbles.

Dip and enjoy.

They sell saffron in supermarkets, in the spice aisle. Do you live in some third world craphole?

Low-end Safeway markets carry it for God's sake, where the poor people shop.

Of course this is just the backward crappy unsophisticated USA.

Wow. You are so cool and successful, looking down on us poor people.
Can I marry you for a green card?
I want to live in America so that people can fly into my office with a jet aeroplane...

Sad thing is I'll bet you would like to live here. Odd how all the critics of the US are so anxious to come here so they can complain. Best you stay where you are.
