It's good to learn some names to look for on the other side of the Atlantic.

You claimed that all your vituperative remarks on the "Invisible" thread were "jokes" and Suzianne characterized it all as two women having a laugh on a "Ladies Night Out". You both claimed that all the highly personalized insults were comedic and that I was lacking a sense of humour.

Do you think sexual slurs aimed at a male poster on a message board is justifiable female humour? Is it justifiable for men to excuse sexual slurs aimed at female individuals by framing them as comedy?

No, you are mistaken. I am not lying.

Who are your favourites, excluding the pair of self anointed ones we have here that is?

Mine has to be Jo Brand.

Oh and Sandi Toksvig
Pamela Stephenson's contributions to Not The Nine O'Clock News - her impersonations in particular - were great.

Yes, as a middle aged woman she’d be great at jokes about the 3 minute wonders, I can see the crowds of American women wetting themselves over that. D’you think they’d enjoy the ones on weak bladders following a traumatic labour too? 🤣

Does Phoebe Waller-Bridge's writing and acting in Fleabag qualify her as a female comedian?

You think I ‘pretended’ to be offended by being called elderly?
I ‘was’ offended because that term encompasses beyond middle age at 60 to the 90’s and beyond. Today many people live until they are even 100. The term is dated because it now covers a 40 year period during which there are vast differences between people’s physical and cognitive ability. It’s a term I have stopped using. I would never offend my sisters by calling them elderly either though we all accept that we are getting older.

As for middle age that’s remained the same, 40 to 60?

Tell me something, why do you feel the need to label people at the start of your posts? You did it with me saying I was an elderly white person. I find that plain weird.

Can you imagine doing that if I was black?

The black, elderly Drewnogal ....
