I agree with Schindler's List. A very powerful movie.
Maybe a bit too powerful for some.
It's a beautiful Life with Roberto Benigni is another great movie depicting that era.
I vote Casablanca s a must see for any movie buff.
What can I say....I'm a sucker for the classics.
years before it makes classic. It's like with music. An artist releases two
albums in a timespan of say two years and on the third his
"best of"-album with all the classics are released.
Bah!
Though it's a good film. You'd have to be dead not to be affected by it.
The way Spielberg put only that little girl in colour was beautiful. Made
her as precious as every little child is. And when I saw her lying dead on
that wagon, it stirred up rage and sorrow inside so much that I'm still
saddened by it. :'( Excellent film.
I'd like to recommend another "classic". Big Fish. I know, it's not based
on reality like Schindler's list, but I still think it's a brilliant work of art.

I was referring to Casablance....not the other two films. 😞

those kind of things have their place though, in movies targeted at small children.
