No, it isn't. There are lots of different quadrupeds. There aren't too many marine quadrupeds, however.
Somebody had already asked if it was a mammal, by your logic you should have waited for the answer to that.

You do realise that the category of animal includes fish, my category was wider than your category😛

There are lots of non-mammalian quadrupeds, so my question didn't need to wait.

Your category being wider is a bad thing.

1. I am a mammal.
2. I have four limbs and a tail. I chose this form of words because my four ambulatory appendages are also useful for other things, so they're not strictly just feet.
3. I am not a marine mammal.
4. I am sometimes kept in a place where humans can view me.

If the answer to (1) was negative then your question would have been redundant, but given that we cant read peoples minds over the net.

I have had 4 or 5 of these Qs waiting, what's the problem, we are not getting charged per Question.

Perhaps it is anal retentive's who think alike.

No the game usually goes from wide category's to ever narrower ones until you get the answer.

And the game usually has only 20 questions, so efficient questions are desirable.

No. I already explained that it would not be redundant.

You're not the sharpest knife in the drawer, are you? 😕

Yeah that would be true if the game was called twenty questions, check the thread title mastermind, do you expect a ban if you ask the 21st question or shock horror kewpie wins a game:'(

Yes and there are oodles of non mammalian, non quadruped animals so my question did'nt need to wait either.

No, you're still not thinking this through.

My question is helpful regardless of whether the answer to 1) is yes or no.

Yours is not very helpful if the answer to mine is 'yes'. There aren't very many (any?) marine quadrupeds.

Tell you what. I'll shut up if you can show me that there are 100 species of marine quadruped or more.

I am aware of the thread title. That's why I said the game is usually played with a 20-question limit.
