I had the same problem though after changing from IE to FF and this solved it.
No I don't think it can be that. I just cleared everything in IE again and still can't log on in Firefox. Also, the problems started before I even tried logging on in IE.

I did try once actually. Didn't like it. 😛

TrendMicro can never get it right.

I tried their scan through Firefox, and it crashed the browser immediately.

I run XP Home and was having trouble with Firefox (which claimed to be up to date) until I installed 1.5.0.2 . It may have mattered that I shut down all the applications in all the accounts while doing the install.
