Fits in a Shoebox

My family is sending 2 shoeboxes of items to Canadian soldiers (1 male, 1 female) in Afghanistan. Here is what we are putting in so far, (p indicates pending):

- 1 Angels and Demons
- 1 bar of soap ea
- 1 Readers Digest (p)
- 1 womens magazine
- assorted boxes of Mentos mint gum and jollyranchers
- shower mesh scrub thing (I don't know what it's called)...maybe a loofa??
- 1 handcream ea
- 1 waterpistol ea (p)
- 1 bottle of shampoo ea
- Q-Tips
- Aloe Vera (p)
- 1 toothbrush/paste ea
- 1 deodorant each

There is probably other stuff but I forget about it. Anyone have any ideas?

Vodka, toenail/fingernail clippers, self taken pictures of various points of interest in their country, self written notes, things of that sort.

Yes. Wet ones were always appreciated when I was in the Army and the showers were far and in between. I don't know why you would send a water pistol. They should have a real one if they are in Afghanistan. Writing paper and envelopes are nice also.

I meant to mention the paper. We will probably shove some in somewhere, but the envelopes are a good idea, thanks.

If it was me, I'd like health packs. Whenever I'm playing army games on PS2, I always need more health packs. Make sure they're the kind that you can use at a later date when you need them. Not the kind that are automatically applied to your current health.
