As to the water drop going 'up' it goes in whatever direction the last push gave it, if you noticed, the big drop went straight to the camera. Exactly what do you see wrong with that? Of course there will be a direction they call up just where the words on the equipment are oriented, you would naturally have your eyes level with them. Do you think they couldn't just put up signs willy nilly? Of course they can. They put then in a single orientation so you have a frame of reference. If you were blindfolded you would have zero in the way of reference and you would not know which way you are facing if you were spun head over heels or around and around. You would only be guessing which side is up. They only use visual clues so they have a common reference. Of course in your paranoia you think that is because they are faking. Try ANY WAY YOU WANT to acheive those effects, like the little one of her necklace floating about on her neck when she is changing directions and such.
Not only did I look at the video, I listened to it, too!
I don't care what she says about orientation, there is CLEARLY an "up" orientation which both she and the cameraman default to... oh, plus that pesky water drop which also migrates "up."
That being said, what of the questions I put to you?
Tell me specifically what you think is fake on that video. Do you seriously think they just spliced together a bunch of 20 second segments? With the entire length of ISS clearly in view? The Vomit Comet does not have room for such a huge station.
You have to say ESA is faking it, the Russians are faking it, same with China, Israel, Britain, Brazil, India and all the others who launched into space.
But your single hard on seems to be against just NASA.

All you want is for me to agree, yes NASA lies. My answer, for the most part NO they don't. Of course for you, that is not an answer. Even though it is MY answer and will remain my answer.
Is that video I put up faked?
Answer the question relative to the curvature of the earth, FFS.
Originally posted by FreakyKBHSo I say the horizon is about 6 odd miles away for a 6 foot tall person. And of course you will go into one of your tirades that shows "I can see blah blah blah from Cleveland' or some such, totally ignoring the FACT that atmospheric conditions will let you see things way too far away to see normally based on just the curvature of Earth.
Forget NASA for the time being.

Isn't that about the story?

You're making me start to doubt my superior communication skills.
A 6' tall person standing on the shore of water will have a horizon of ~3 miles, regardless of elevation.
That is not to say it (the distance between him and the horizon) is a continual level surface: between him and the horizon; eight inches per mile squared still holds sway.
You use the word FACT when describing refraction of light without accurately describing the conditions thereof.
In the video I offered, the observer is over 150' above sea level.
He records an island at least 80+ miles away.
There should be in excess of 3,000' of loss in visibility due to the curvature of the earth.
Instead, we see the other island in its entirety.
We see the other island prior to the sun coming up, and we see the island as the sun is coming up behind it.
This cannot be refraction of light, as the image of the island is present prior to any light affecting it, as well as the rising of the sun would eliminate the image as it rose.
IN THE SAME MANNER, the images I am able to detect in my home town are detectable at all times of the day or night and throughout the seasons of the year.
The only obstacle to my ability to detect said images which ought to be below the horizon: weather-related incidents, such as rain, clouds, haze, fog or the man-made smog.
Why is this so hard for you to get your mind around?

Dude destroys them on the regular.

"It's all a nice little pretend that it's all the same shot."
Yeah: nothing wrong there, right?
If ANY segment is over 30 seconds it cannot be done from an aircraft. Period. No question.
There are way too many subtle effect to have to fake to do that with graphics, so what is your point?
Show me where it is faked. So what if it isn't done in one take, I do that at home when I video the grandkids. Is that proof that I faked the video?
So what is faked?
Originally posted by sonhouseClearly, they (the broadcasters) wish the viewers to think the entire sequence is one continuous shot.

Clearly, it is not.
Why would they want the viewers to think it was one continuous shot?
Why are they unable to produce ten minutes of unedited footage?
And, more importantly, are you going to answer the questions?

Why does ANY show want people to think stuff was done in one take, exactly what does that prove? It's not in one take. Wow, must be fake. Only in your paranoid mind. Did you not read the part where the Vomit Comet or any other airplane doing the zero g thing, cannot do so more than 30 seconds but the sequences you see are all several minutes long. Do THAT on an airplane.

THAT IS THE POINT. You make insinuations because that way you can continue your fantasy of a flat Earth.
