Phil's Special Onion Relish

Fresh white onion diced
Drench onion with (favorite) hot sauce
Mix in (favorite) mustard

Spread on (favorite) hot dog.

Sweat...

This does not work on cheap rolls/buns as the condiments will dissolve all connective 'tissue' in the bun and result in hot dog meeting your slacks whilst driving to your next appointment.

Not that it's ever happened to me. ๐Ÿ˜›

... Seems off topic now, but:

Crisp lettuce, fresh sliced tomato,
mustard, ground salt & pepper with just a tiny bit of mayonnaise.
Or alternatively substitute mayo with relish / sweet chilli sauce.

Its great with veggie sausages too.
