Indeed, D64

Sorry, I was too lazy to scroll back

In 'fairness' the Japanese were happy with the score, Poland happy to win 1 of their 3 games, even if they were going out.

I believe if the score in the other game had changed, Japan could have 'shot themselves in the foot'.

Shame it didn't happen

Wow!!! (Again) 2-0 Belgium v Brazil

Stunning tactical change by Belgium. Lots of space in midfield and they're making it count. Long ways to go yet though. An hour still to play.

Only European teams left.
Big games today
No one wants a Russia v England semi in the current climate.

Go on, Roma

Tell us how Kane pushed someone before England's first goal, 2nd goal push/offside

Are all games in Scotland 0-0?

One would expect so. Probably even more so, given the recent history behind the countries.

England/Scotland has almost become a comical rivalry, especially in football. Scotland offer nothing, but just want everyone to beat England. Something they are patently unable to do since 1999. And no prospect of that changing any time soon

If you were a super hero your name would be 'short memory boy'...

Hey Short Memory Boy, do you not recall the night in Glasgow in 2017 were the lucky English needed a late late goal to salvage a draw against the might of Scotland? Oh, Short Memory Boy...

So, what was the result of that game?

Oh yes, away draw for England. Not a win for Scotland.

So, in qualifying for the WC England were in the same group as Scotland. Thrashed them 3-0 at Wembley, draw away. Points gained, England 4, Scotland 1

And YOUR point is?

I live in Wales and can confirm the Croatian flags will be waving hard here too.
