We're not supposed to send them to the US anymore, some nasty US capitalist has complained that we're trying to sell in their market. So we have to take the wrappings off first - and how can you unwrap a Tim Tam without eating it? Sorry ... 😛

You can send stuff to us (I'm assuming you're in the US), but the International Postal Authority has prohibited Australia Post from accepting parcels containing food in commercial packaging, without export licence documentation. The excuse given was that US food producers had demanded that the US not accept any food that could be resold in their country. The IPA is obliged to enforce any local regulations provided to it. In the same way, US Post is not permitted to accept parcels containing handguns, if the parcel has an Australian destination. As a Post Office licensee, I had a book of such regulations provided by Australia Post and was obliged to follow them.

So, send me a handgun described on the outside as a box of cookies and I'll send you a packet of Tim Tams described as a handgun .....

Now now MissO. What on earth would you want with a handgun? 😲

Then again, Post Office job??? 😛

The handgun's for "personal use" - that makes it OK doesn't it? 🙂

Nice choice.
