You are very close to becoming my personal bitch. This is a feeling that I can deny no longer.

Well sorta.

Oh well...
Thanks, I still respect you ...well sort of.

Sometimes, Darvlay, you just have to remember the old Zen master who said: "Let masturbators masturbate."

I haven't seen "Ducks", is it worth watching?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1085398/

Edit: The last film I saw was "Schläfer" ('Sleeper'😉. Quite interesting and thought-provoking. http://www.goethe.de/ins/us/saf/pro/bb2006/pages/film-sleep.htm
You don't watch movies do you Nordlys? At least I thought you didn't.

You probably think a lot of things about me that aren't true. Why wouldn't I watch movies?

Nope, not I... I really liked the gritty realism and the fact that every actor performed flawlessly 😕

😉 It's very refreshing to see movies that are not all about Hollywood and Happy Endings

'Cause you don't have a TV?

I dunno. Why are you pressuring me on this point?

I just thought I remembered you saying you don't watch TV, so I assumed that you didn't watch movies either. Maybe I am wrong, that is why I asked.

Don't discount the value of a happy ending.

I don't have a TV, but that doesn't mean I don't watch movies. There are these places called cinemas, and my computer has a DVD player.

Are there forum bullies?
Or just a couple of people with ego-issues who feel bullied by taking everything WAY too personal?
Yes, and Phlabs is their leader. He rewards good behavior (goading) with little mahogany figurines of animals, and keeps his minions coming back to collect the whole set. His goons are as follows.

Darvlay: A master of both the typed word and the frying pan. He's on his second collection of mahogany toys, and there's no sign his getting fed up with their rich aroma. One of the more colorful characters here, and is quietly appreciated for his work.

rbmorris: The in-between of Phlabs and Darvlay; he can hit you in many different ways, although his weapon of choice is the metaphor. He doesn't eat meat, but he'll still take a bite out of you if you dis his brothaz. He keeps the mood lite and off-balanced by his comical use of the avatar, only to strike while we're distracted by his clever animations.

Ragnorak: The straight shooter of the group. He says it like it is and leaves nothing in his wake. His nick name may be from Norse mythology, but there's nothing mythological about him. He's subtly clever, but doesn't get lost in his own humor, much to the amazement of his fellow forum hoodlums.

Nordlys: She can correct your grammar in multiple languages, and out-wit you in many more. Violent and beautiful with comedy and words, just like the radiation that causes the Nordlys. Classical music finally has an ambassador to the world of the chess forum, and we're the better for it.

Palynka: Who cares?

Catfoodtim: His name may be weird, and smell of chicken, liver, and tuna, but he's a stand-up forum thugeroo. He's bite your ankles and scratch your arms to the point of apparent heroine addiction, which you may just need after he's done eating your face. Another master of the word, but his specialty is phrasing; short and brutal, but pretty.

Sicilian Smaug: His name is a mix of chess and classic literature, but he doesn't care. He works with bones, which really isn't as interesting as it might seem. He's a soldier in the fight against forum boringness, and probably won't be promoted, cause he's good at what he does. He's brash, but polite if treated decently. An enigma, indeed.

SJ247: I don't want to say much about her, as I'm afraid she'll hurt me if I do. Which should make my point plenty clear.

Hopscotch: What can you say? He's from South Africa. That's all I know about him.

Crowley: Hey! He's from South Africa, too. How ironic. 🙂

Orangutan: He throws feces covered words of wisdom, cleverly drowned in dry wit. Monkey jokes are always a crowd pleaser.

Starrman: The last of our forum fighters. He started the massive cancer that is the Word Association Thread, and will forever be looked upon either as a legend, or something else, I can't think of the word. He doesn't post much more, but back in the day, he was a sunbeam of light in a darkened General Forum. He knows his way around the insult, and he occasionally unleashes said knowledge on the every-day forum goers. One of the old timers, and will always be appreciated (sort-of).

In case you couldn't tell, I was being sarcastic. Bullies are what you want them to be.

I hope not. That would really do my head in tonight.

But then again, maybe I am. Who they hell am I to judge? Jesus, I might even be you, or god forbid, Red Night.

Just imagine I'm him? Or Ivanhoe? Maybe I'm a right-wing christian, pro-life, nut Case?

God damn...

I think I'm suffering an exestential crisis!
