I can go downstairs to the local shop and get 5 for that price...

But seriously, are there topics which we're not allowed to discuss?

Suppose you can get as controversial as you like, but I wouldn't say there is any grounds for banning topics. Although it could turn into a flame war and posts get moderated, that isn't really a topic being banned. 🙂

Edit: As for the chocolate bars, I think they are horrible anyway.

I am not going through the entire history of forum posts updating what has been, I am only concerned with what is to be.

I never mentioned banning topics, just the language used.

I believe "female ejaculation" and "bestiality" were banned, not for language, but for topic.

I've got a massive post brewing on the topic of "coprophagy"... I think it will achieve a new record in speed-removal...

Does this also imply harsher sentencing of offenders ?

That’s funny, the company I worked for just sacked a guy for saying the
word… errr.. how can I say what he said without being moderated? Are
quotations allowed? err… whats brown and sticky? wrong!! the answer is:
“a stick”.. but what was in your mind, is what that guy said.. is poo a
swear word? What about Winnie The Poo? Well, he didn’t say poo but
that’s the nearest… "kinda-ok-to-say" word to it…

Anywhoo..

In my opinion "posts containing inappropriate language will be removed"
is a bit harsh. For one, as you see above, its very restricting. As long as
everyone here respects the other, causes no intentional offence to
anyone, then no harm done.

Secondly, having a "list of banned words" is ridiculous, though would be
interesting to see. Not only you would have to consider all swear words
spoken in English, but those of the rest of the globe too.

Last but not least, food with a bit of salt and pepper, a sprinkle of spices
here and there always makes it taste better. I dread to see how the
already dull threads will turn out without any swear words in them.

Well my mother doesn't think redhotpawn is an appropriate name for a website.
