I'm in your clan, But I have to say, You are really whacked on this boycott the NFL thing. We get it, but I am really tired of you running down one of the best sports in American History for a few bad events. Do you want to boycott the World as well because of some bad event that happens. Get over it Bud, enough is enough. Go pet your dog and hush.

He has a good point in trying to get rid of american "football". Why is it that people are oblivious to the fact that a game doesnt deserve to be called foootball when:

a. A sport invented by England, and acknowldged by everywhere else in the world except america is called Football.

b. There is a clue in the name - FOOTball. When was the last time someone kicked an american football? They dont even fly streight.

They kick them ALL THE TIME. At kickoff, punts, extrapoints, and field goals.

Well, it is apparent you don't know anything about the game. Did you ever think it might have been named "Football" to goad noobs like you. Lol! Little thin skinned if you ask me. Lets see, they kick the ball in every game. Why don't you call soccer, fake an injury ball. They do that too. But to stay on subject. Boycotting an punishing innocet players and fans for the actions a few is not a good point. It's silly.

I dont really know much of the controversy involving the NFL but if there have been troubles and no action taken, then the organisiation should be brought under some sort of public discipline. Otherwise it just brings our world further down the path of anarchy and lawlessness.

That is just the point, you don't know much about the game, or what can and does happen yet you speak up about how Burns has a good point when he doesn't. There has been some troubles just like in any major corporation in the world and there was punishment for them. Don't you think after suspensions and fines and in some cases banning is enough. Some of these players occasionally even go to jail and prison.

The new commissioner is doing a lot to try and clean up the sport. Much more than some places I can think of. Baseball being one of them. I bet your sport whatever it is has some problems too.

Actually, you Brits invented two types of football.

"Rugby Football," called Rugby in many parts of the world and Football in the US where it has been substantially improved and "Association Football" or "Soccer Football" called Football in many parts of the world and Soccer in the US.

It's amazing how little you lads from the land of fog know about the history of your own games.

Yeah, biggest English mistake ever. I am suprised it was never called New England, what with half the cities there being named after English towns.

So what actually did happen in the NFL to get people so riled up?

What got Frank so riled about was that a player was betting on dogs. Putting them in a pit and fighting them to the death. Frank was right in that it was wrong to do that, but the league suspended him indefinitely and he is going through legal action. I an pretty sure there is going to be prison time. So why call for a boycott when the league had nothing to do with the incident.

There has been another incident where a team was accused of cheating. The people involved were fined and the Team lost a draft pick. Biggest punishment in the history of the NFL. The team won their game today without cheating by the way. Tore the opposing team up. I really think that was just to send a message to the NFL, because the "New England" team is a class organization and doesn't need to cheat.

I think it would have been cool if we had...that would have messed with you. But I like the "United States of America" much better. I just wish you guys would learn to drive in the right side of the road.
