I don't use LimeWire nor do I download anything besides music files.

Soulseek is great. Never had any problems with dodgy files/virii etc.

A good site is www.mp3search.ru where the choons cost about 10c each. Fast downloads and its nearly always up. You will be supporting pinko commies, so if you can live with that...

emp3world.com has a bunch for free
but a better choice would be to go to a site where you pay like $20 and get unlimited access to all their songs. youll find pretty much any song youre looking for
