Most curious dialect for the word "out" comes from Canada. It almost sounds like "oat".

I live in Philadelphia, and my dialect gives me away anytime I'm in another part of USA.

I didn't know Philly had a dialect of sorts recognizable. I'm sure you've heard me talk about Grindahs, Evah, Octobah... etcah....

isn't the yorkshire 't' thing more about it being omitted than actually pronounced? I mean, I can't tell english dialects from each other, but I remember hearing actors from yorkshire complaining about other actors doing the dialect wrong?
