1. A 2000+ players rating increases 0 points playing sub 1400.
2. You could try challenging them to a CLAN game, then they stand to gain something.
3. Tournaments has already bee ...[text shortened]... 4. Start beating 1700's first!! If you beat a few of them, you'll be playing 2000+ in no time!
The other way to play high rated players is PM them first, ask politely. If their in your clan they might want to help you too.

I am pretty frusterated at the way I cannot play higher rated people simply because they take for granted I can't play and win. If you fancy yourself so much higher than your beginning 1200 rating then just play to enjoy your game... the cream will rise to the top. But once you get there, see if you still have this feeling that 1800+ players should be forced to play these provisional people. And I'm speaking from the provisional side... I think I have like 8 or so games to go to get a non-provisional rating...

Why can't I play the top members? Not to win, just to learn. It's not fair!
Same reasons your open invites with >2000 and >2100 are stinking up the joint.
