What me? Quit? I never give up or resign a game.
EDIT: Oh, smoking? No, I haven't had a smoke. I stopped counting the hours and minutes, I'm on 6 days now. From tomorrow I'll be counting in weeks...
As am American I think its funny to say smoke a fag. lol sorry
Originally posted by c99uxI've never tried it with umebashi. I've actually never taken the time to buy the stuff and mix it. I usually just buy the Kirin cans at 7-11. For 180 yen, it not like I'm going broke.
Even I can make apple chu-hi.
I prefer it with umeboshi and hot water though.
I've heard that if you mix it at home it much cheaper and just as good (or better). Have you found that to be true?
Originally posted by Saint NickYeah, the canned stuff has way too much sugar and other crap in it.

If you like umeboshi, it's a nice drink 50/50 with hot (not quite boiling) water. I usually drink my shochu on the rocks, but on a cold day hot chu-hi is refreshing.
EDIT:
Where are you?
Originally posted by c99uxWow! I've never had it hot. I've always drank it cold on a warm day (or just crank up the karosine on my heater). I guess I'm not quite the shochu expert that you are. Yea, the kirin stuff is kind of sweet. I like lemon, but can't take the lemon in the can. The canned apple though has led to many blunders.....

Oh, I'm at home 😛
I'm in Yokosuka. In Kanagawa prefecture just south of Yokohama.
Originally posted by Saint NickI like the grapefruit cans, they're 7+%, so you only need a couple to get merry, but very sweet and sometimes lead to hangovers and forgetting whatsernames name...
