so, i'm employed. that means i have money. well-a bit of money. i need to save up for next year. but that is beside the point. it means that i can purchase some decent albums. now, out of the last 3 albums i bought, 2 have been mild wastes of money (i feel free-the best of cream, three cheers for revenge-my chemical romance, and a random "a perfect circle" al ...[text shortened]... to buy a ukulele...any suggestions? any no-no's? any "you didn't put it in!"'s?
Definitely recommend The Joshua Tree, Ziggy Stardust and Nevermind.
Your taste seems eclectic enough to suggest a variety of genres and artists.
What about REM - Automatic for the people, U2 - The Unforgettable Fire, Def Leppard - Hysteria, Bowie - Scary Monsters. Some of the best tunes on these albums were the ones that never made it into the public domain. Finally, I heard a song by The Arcade Fire on TV a while ago and immediately bought their album - Funeral. This really is something different, even if half the lyrics are in French.

This is an extreme exaggeration about an album whose excellence cannot be exaggerated.

Have you ever bought worse? I have a number of dark secrets dating back to "Britpop".

i thought the last track was a cool bluesy trick to learn, and the one with the horn section was quite good for driving. (not as good as the first album, but i'm geting old).
