Oh yes, but I'm not prepared to air my closet quite so readily.

The Bluetones "Learning to Fly"

Dont care if it makes me uncool.

I still own it, still love it.

As for The Beatles, I think you might like The White Album and Revolver more than Sergeant Pepper.

And try Pink Floyd The Wall and The Delicate Sound of Thunder (the best live album I've heard)

Enjoy!

i'd say ditch the Dead Kennedys for Minor Threat - get their 'Complete Discography' - it's not a best of, just their total output. the singer went on to form Fugazi...

Beatles - hard to say, perhaps consider Abbey Rd as an alternative. Dylan - Highway 61 Revisited

Bowie - Ziggy Stardust is good, but maybe go for 'Heroes', Low, Station to Station or Scary Monsters...

Mogwai's new album Mr Beast is great, and so is their older stuff like Young Team and Come oN Die Young

Genius,
From your list I would suggest the Dead Kennedy's one - a great album with no bad songs on it, unlike some of their other albums.
Jimi Hendrix - if you haven't got this one, why not? I never listen to it nowadays, but it got played a lot when I first bought it.
David Bowie - ditto this one. These days I prefer Scary Monsters or Hunky Dory.

Definitely get the Joshua Tree by U2,this album is probably their best but i am a big U2 fan so could be a bit biased.

Hey, how about Midnight Oil, "Diesel & Dust". Definitely a classic, and they still haven't given it back...

Ask Midnight Oil...for me it refers to any dispossessed people...take your pick...(right now I'm thinking Palestine)...

Aboriginal land rights were one of Midnight Oil's pet issues. Not unreasonably so, I might add.
