i used to have a lot of time for george galloway - he was my mp when i lived in glasgow, and he's now mp in the constituency next door to mine. now, i'm as socialist as the next guy, unless the next guy is no1marauder (on the one hand) or redmike (on the other) - come to think of it, i'm more socialist than most of the rightwing nutballs who trawl these forums. but even a fully paid-up trades-unionist like myself was cringing behind the sofa last night as i watched the beautiful one pretending to lick cream from rula lenska's hand. surely i'm not the only one who thinks he's shot himself in the foot with this whole big brother thing? or am i being totally outdated by talking politics amongst all the jaded iGeneration that frequent these forums?

No way. Anyone who can simultaneously lick off cream from Rula Lenska and shoot himself in the foot has to take the biscuit in my book.

PS: In mixed metaphor heaven there will be Hindu, Muslim unity always.

Why has a socialist MP tried to bribe the police into letting Pete get away with (potentially) a crime?

He wore a protected monkey skin fur.

The police are investigating it, and George's first instinct was a financial settlement. Doesn't seem to be a very socialist instinct to me.
