sage. Use the word sage for someone or something wise and judicious. Thanks to the sage advice of your friend, you didn't write your teacher an angry e-mail! ... If someone is a policy sage, he knows just what advice to give politicians to make them understand the issue and respond successfully to it. 😉

His sage advice reminded me of the words my dad told me many, and I mean many, years ago, "Steve, learn something new every day" and I try to do just that, though I do have to admit there are days when I struggle with it. I already have learned soooooo much. 🤔
