I just got into gardening last year- and now I'm hooked- have roses, honeysuckle, japonica, ivy, fuscia, dahlia, gladioli, lillies, anenome, lobelia, marigolds, antirrhinum, eeem... loads more stuff I can't remember, plus a herb and fruit garden (this latest being my newest project, and one on which i am going to work today...raspberries...sorted!)!

Anyway.... you asked!!!

I am either the world's worse , or unluckiest gardener . Every time I've tried to grow a veggie garden , some kind of biblical plague has come along and devestated it . I'm in my third growing season at my present home and have to say things have gotten better since I moved here and I'm very up about this year . I grow herbs for cooking , plus corn , squash , peas , tomato , peppers , beans , and carrots . The thing I've had least success with is squash , which is of course the one I want most .

Where do you live and what type of squash are you trying to grow? I always have more than we can use.
