Hello
I am up in london for the blackeyed peas on monday.
I~ want to drive to croyden or crawley.
and get a tube to goldhawk rd.
any one know the best route?
Route 1 (From either Crawley or Croydon)
South West train to Waterloo
Northern line to Embankment & then District line to Hammersmith
or
Northern line to Leicester square & then Piccadilly line to Hammersmith
Route 2 (From either Crawley or Croydon)
South West train to Clapham
Another train to South Kensington
District line to Hammersmith
Route 3 (From Croydon, dunno about Crawley)
Tram to Wimbledon
District line to Earls Court
Change and either Piccadilly or District to Hammersmith
I would say route 2 would be the quickest but I dont think there is too much in it. But I am not sure how far apart the train and tube stations are.
Route 3 would be the most peaceful but there are a lot of stops between Croydon and Wimbledon.

Route 1 & 2 are bollox.
The trains from croydon, gatwick & crawley are connex and run to Victoria.
Thats is actually better though because you can just change there and get the district line to Hammersmith.

I've always wanted to hire a crowd of people, start them all off in the same tube train, and have each one randomly choose whether to get off at each station with a certain probability. Then some other random method could tell them which change to make on getting off, if possible. If there are no available changes, they text me their location, and I put a pin in a tube map. Brownian motion of people!
