I've used it successfully for 10 years - the thing is to definitely eat/drink/shower as soon as you wake up - if you groan and go back to sleep you're doomed.
I'll try it again Monday morning and let you know how it goes. 😀
(Edit: A friend of mine always used to go on that the hungover body needs fibre (muesli) and bananas etc - I stick with bacon and eggs with a religious fervour!)

Ah ,but alas my poor mate ,i dont wake up feeling like the worlds exploding in my head ,and gee it feels good.
I still have as much fun and enjoyment as when i used to drink ,besides my wallet gets pretty full now.

You need to know this for the future: Hangovers are caused by dehydration of the body. To not have a hangover you need to consume water while you drink AND (very important) drink one 12 oz glass of water before going to bed.

i think it depends what your objective is.
If you drink to get drunk then it may sober you up or keep you sensible. so the question is, is that what you want?
If you drink because alcohol gives you confidence to take on anyone in the bar, then forget the water in between.
If you drink to make a fool of yourself and blame it on the alcohol then maybe 1 water just before bed could do the trick.
If you drink because you have nothing better to spend your money on, then drink water regularly between the alcohol.
